Gibson Field Service (ABN 37 903 354 360) is a small Australian agricultural contracting business. We take your privacy seriously and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry or apply for a job through this site, we collect what you give us. Typically that is your name, phone number, email address, the message you write, and any files you choose to upload (for example, a resume or photo). If you call or email us directly, we keep a record of that conversation.
How we use it
We use your information for one of two reasons: to respond to your enquiry and quote or book the work, or to assess your job application. That is it. We do not use your details for marketing lists, and we do not profile you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We will only share it with people outside Gibson Field Service if it is genuinely needed to deliver the service you have asked us about (for example, a sub-contractor working on your job), or if we are required to by Australian law.
How it is stored
Enquiries and applications are kept in our business systems and email, protected by passwords and access controls. We hold information only for as long as we need it to do the job or to meet our record-keeping obligations, then we delete it.
Access and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we have handled your information, you can also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
